Lee Jane Huffman, DVMDiplomate, ACVD

Dr. Lee Jane Huffman graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1999, where she was honoured with the Katherine Elizabeth Long DVM Memorial Scholarship for exemplifying the highest standards of skill, knowledge, and compassion in the care of animals. After graduation, she pursued both academic and private practice internship programs in the United States, where she discovered her passion for veterinary dentistry and oral surgery.

In 2004, Dr. Huffman completed a Veterinary Dentistry and Oral Surgery Residency at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, followed by a one-year mentorship at Southern California Veterinary Dental Specialties (now Veterinary Dental Specialties). She achieved Diplomate status with the American College of Veterinary Dentistry in 2005.

Alongside her practice, Dr. Huffman is dedicated to supporting and advancing the veterinary community at large by providing continuing education, mentorship, and hands-on training in dental radiography, orofacial examinations, periodontal and surgical techniques, as well as veterinary dental team building. She also established a teledentoradiology archiving and reporting service to support general practice veterinarians.

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Huffman is a fitness enthusiast who enjoys spending time outdoors or with her friends, family, and beloved pets, including her gorgeous Maine Coon, Apollo “The Toothless” (a 100% cured severe stomatitis survivor), and her adorable (albeit “chatty”) Shelties, Austin and Meghan Markle.
