Dr. Yuqing Sun graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College (OVC) in 2021. While pursuing a rotating internship at the Veterinary Emergency Clinic (VEC) the following year, she discovered a passion for caring for critically ill and complex patients. Upon completing her internship, Dr. Sun returned to OVC to undertake a residency in Emergency and Critical Care, which she completed in 2025.
Now back at the VEC as a specialist, Dr. Sun is committed to providing compassionate, attentive care and supporting both patients and their families through challenging and often stressful situations. She is proud to be part of a team dedicated to delivering the highest standard of care.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Sun enjoys hiking, drawing, and playing the piano.
