Dr. Jay Pakhawala earned his Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) in India in 2020 before spending two years in small animal general practice. He subsequently completed a specialty internship in Internal Medicine at Guardian Veterinary Specialists in New York and went on to complete a residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine at the Schwarzman Animal Medical Center in Manhattan, the world’s largest veterinary teaching hospital. His residency provided extensive experience managing a high-volume and diverse caseload of complex medical conditions, while also offering advanced training in a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Dr. Pakhawala enjoys the breadth and complexity of internal medicine, with particular interests in minimally invasive diagnostics and interventional procedures, including endoscopy and advanced image-guided techniques. He is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care while working closely with pet owners and referring veterinarians to achieve the best possible outcomes.
