Dr. Heather Gray is a 1997 graduate of the Ontario Veterinary College. Following graduation Dr. Gray completed a one-year internship in Large Animal Medicine at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine (WCVM) at the University of Saskatchewan. After completing her Large Animal internship Dr. Gray spent two additional years at the WCVM as a clinical associate in the Small Animal Surgery Department. An Ophthalmology internship and residency followed, from 2000-2003, at Angell – Western New England Animal Hospital (previously known as Rowley Memorial Animal Hospital) in Springfield, Massachusetts.
Dr. Gray held the position of assistant professor at the Ontario Veterinary College from 2003-2004 where she was responsible for the management of ophthalmology referrals, didactic teaching, and the supervision of undergraduate students, interns and residents.
Dr. Gray has been operating an ophthalmology veterinary consulting service in the Greater Toronto Area since 2004. She offers consultations for small animal, equine (mobile) and exotic patients. Dr. Gray was board-certified by the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists (ACVO) in 2003.
